Sunrise to Sunset Rally Returns

Melbourne May 3,2008 - After a four-year hiatus, one of Florida Porsche drivers' favorite events returned. Sponsored by Space Coast, Citrus and Suncoast regions, the teams from the regions gathered in Melbourne on Friday before Saturday's cross-state rally over some of the best Porsche roads in Florida, ending up on the beach just outside of St. Petersburg, where they had...another party! Slept in Sunday morning, did a little shopping, drove home safely. Piece of cake.

The Friday evening festivities began with an arrival cocktail party at Porsche of Melbourne. Derek Bell was there, so you didn't want to miss the party, even if you didn't make the event.

We didn't stay up to late, 'cause we all had to be up at dawn to catch the sunrise over Melbourne Beach(at 6:55AM) before enjoying breakfast at the Holiday Inn Crown Plaza (again hosted by Porsche of Melbourne). We each recieved our instructions and did our best to solve the murder mystery while navigating our way to North Reddington Beach and the Doubletee Hotel for the sunset Saturday night banquet. Who did it, you might ask? The mystery lives on.....until next time.
